What is PP?

PP is a polymer formed by the addition polymerization of propylene. It is a white waxy material with a transparent and light appearance. The density is 0.89～0.91g/cm3, flammable, the melting point is 165℃, softened at about 155℃, the use temperature range is -30～140℃. It can resist the corrosion of acid, alkali, salt solution and various organic solvents below 80℃, and can decompose under the action of high temperature and oxidation

What is PE?

Polyethylene (polyethylene, referred to as PE) is a thermoplastic resin made by polymerization of ethylene. In industry, it also includes copolymers of ethylene and a small number of α-olefins. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, feels like wax, has excellent low-temperature resistance (minimum use temperature can reach -100 ~ -70 °C), good chemical stability, can withstand the erosion of most acids and alkalis (not resistant to oxidation Nature acid). It is insoluble in common solvents at room temperature, has low water absorption and excellent electrical insulation.

HDPE is a non-polar thermoplastic resin with high crystallinity. High-density polyethylene is non-toxic, odorless, odorless white particles, the melting point is about 130°C and the relative density is 0.941 to 0.960. It has a good heat resistance and cold resistance, good chemical stability, high rigidity and toughness, and good mechanical strength. The dielectric properties and environmental stress crack resistance are also good. Child-resistant lotion pump acts much like an air suction device that draws the product from the bottle to the consumer’s hand despite the law of gravity telling it to do the opposite. When the consumer presses down on the actuator, the piston moves to compress the spring, and the upward air pressure draws the ball upwards, along with the product inside, into the dip tube and subsequently the chamber. As the user releases the actuator, the spring returns the piston and actuator into it’s up position, and the ball is returned to it’s resting position, sealing the chamber and preventing the liquid product from flowing back down into the bottle. This initial cycle is called “priming”. When the user presses down on the actuator again, the product that is already in the chamber will be drawn from the chamber, through the stem and actuator, and dispense out of the pump and onto the consumer’s hand. If the pump has a bigger chamber (common for high output pumps), it may require additional priming before the product will be dispensed through the actuator.

How do you activate the pump on a shampoo bottle? Remove the pump from the bottle. Rinse & dry the shaft of the pump. Firmly grip the pump shaft below the collar and twist the pump head to the right. The pump will pop up and it’s now open! 

Are you having trouble opening the pump for the newest product you bought? How do you activate the pump on a shampoo bottle? Well, I have a quick fix for you. Normally you would put your finger on this part of the pump and twist it open, but sometimes they can get really tough to open.  Take the pump out of the bottle, rinse off the shaft, and dry it. Then you’re going to firmly grip the shaft just under the collar of the pump and firmly twist to the right.
